For pre teens and teens (ages 11 and up), I bring over five years of experience working with youth on the autism spectrum, supporting clients from early childhood through adolescence. I am committed to making therapy accessible for all teens, whether neurodivergent or not, and creating a space where they feel understood in a way that actually meets them where they are. I often use art, narrative, and experiential approaches to make therapy more engaging and less intimidating, helping it feel like something they can connect to rather than something being done to them. When it feels helpful, I also incorporate the family system, while still prioritizing the teen’s autonomy and voice in the process. A large part of this work is building a strong foundation in understanding emotions and emotional regulation, which is often not taught in a way that is clear or accessible. My goal is to give teens practical tools and language they can use both now and in the future, while helping them better understand themselves and how they move through the world.
