Relational Session (Family/Couples)

$175.00

Couples: I work with couples across a wide range of relationship structures, including monogamous, ethically non monogamous (ENM), and everything in between. My approach is integrative, with a strong foundation in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that drive conflict and disconnection. Rather than staying at the surface level, I guide couples to slow down and explore what is really happening underneath, helping each partner access and express the emotions and needs that often get hidden behind defensiveness, frustration, or withdrawal. I also incorporate an experiential style, meaning I do not just talk about your relationship, I actively help you engage with each other differently in the room. This work can feel vulnerable, but it is where real change happens. Whether you are trying to repair, reconnect, or figure out what comes next, my goal is to create a space where both partners feel seen, challenged, and supported in building a relationship that actually works for you.

Families: I work with families across a wide range of dynamics and structures, and my approach is always tailored to the specific people in the room. Every family system is different, so I pay close attention to patterns, roles, and how each person experiences and contributes to the dynamic. While my approach is flexible, I often incorporate experiential work in some way, helping family members move beyond just talking about problems and instead engage with each other in real time. I gently challenge clients to look deeper, express what is often left unsaid, and take risks in how they show up with one another. This process can feel uncomfortable at times, but it creates opportunities for more honest communication, stronger understanding, and meaningful shifts within the family system.
